Forest School

10 years of forest school in Wales. Forest school is run by passionate and enthusiastic team. Local woodlands offer a safe and stimulating environment to discover, embrace and achieve.

Holiday Clubs

Through these sessions, play faciltators provide structured activities in a safe and secure environment for children to gain cherished memories.

Days Out

A full day open session that is completely flexible to your group requirements. Available for either children, adults or both. These tailor made sessions provide educational outdoor fun.

Birthday Parties

A great alternative to indoor play. This forest school themed half day session will be a truly magical experience, and one that neither you nor your friends will ever forget.

Training

Plas Derw can offer Agored Units (OCN) in practical woodland skills and Forest School for young people and adults. Ideal for CV development and career prospects.

Corporate Events

Looking for a great alternative to your normal corporate days out? Plas Derw has the answer; a day in the woods for your team will inspire and motivate your staff to achieve.

Youth Groups

Woodland sessions with a target of enhancing team building, communication and social skills. Our Youth groups also provide environmental knowledge and practical hands on experience.

Our woodlands have no physical constraints and no rigid timetable. All sessions are led by the learners and supervised by confident, passionate and fully qualified leaders. All sessions are designed for personal development in order to improve self esteem, confidence, communication skills and dexterity to name but a few. All activities are held in a stimulating and invigorating environment to make the most of every outdoor session.

We also work with primary and secondary schools as well as youth and community groups. We tailor our projects to suit your needs.
