LIME Sculpture Project
On Friday the 18th of July we celebrated our LIME project by unveling the commerorative sculpture. The sculpture which is also works as seating and a sundial was unveiled by the Rt.Hon David Hanson M.P. in front of villagers and local School Children. The sculpture, which can be seen on Brynford Common, was designed and created by local Woodland owner and Artist Mike Owens, who also took part in the LIME project with Plas Derw Trust. This sculputure depicts Quarry workers on their tea break and was inspired by some of the clay models the children made during their time with us on the LIME project.
